The John Deere 6030 was produced from 1972 to 1977. It was the largest of the John Deere row crop tractors during its production and featured Deere 531 cubic inch, turbocharged and intercooled engine. Originally offered with an optional 141 hp naturally aspirated engine it over the 175 tubocharged/intercooled engine, the option was dropped due to poor sales. The open station sold for approximately $29,000 when new.

The 6030 Precision replica was offered from 2013-2015 features lights that are activated by touching the cab. Ertl stock number 45358. The 6030 is the third release in the Precision Elite line that was started in 2011
